OUR GUARDIAN HOME PROGRAM
At MoonShine Babies Cockapoos and Doodles we believe that every dog deserves to have a forever home with a loving family.
All of our dogs are part of our family and live in our home and never kenneled.
A Guardian Home is a permanent home for one of our breeding males or females.
We do have the right to revoke guardianship at anytime if we feel the Care, Training, Lack of communication or if you keep us from breeding our dogs.
Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our puppies at NO COST as a forever family member and his/her breeding career will last (4 litters ) females & up to the age of 7 for males)
We also offer 2 and 3 litter contracts for a fee up front.
Our guardians may receive a small incentive with each litter they want to whelp and raise the litter to 5-6week if all instructions are followed and pups are properly socialized and trained by our standards.
(Ideally for females we breed 2 litters back to back then skip a season and breed the last 2 litters then we will help spay).
MSB CPOOS will retain ALL breeding rights and ALL Puppies produced by Male or Female during the guardian contract (until Spay/Neutered) belong to MSB CPOO's.
As a Guardian Home you will be required to cover the normal expenses of owning a puppy including annual exams, vaccines, food, etc.
We will pay for all breeding related costs including health testing.
Becoming a Guardian Home is not for everyone, This is not a get a free dog gimmick this is a business agreement and commitment. You MUST be willing and able to follow these requirements:
Be willing to teach basic commands such as sit, stay, lay-down, and leave it.
Be willing to socialize puppies. This is very important!
Puppy must be an indoor pet and never left unattended outside or left in a room, porch, garage or shed that can be escaped from. We crate train our dogs and expect our guardian's to provide a safe home for our beloved babies.
Feed a quality food.
All other dogs in the home MUST be fixed.
Provide regular exercise.
Willing to let us MSB CPOOS visit your home.
Contact MSB CPOOS immediately in the event of a serious illness or accident. If an accident occurs please take him or her to the vet immediately!!!
Send a copy of all vet visits to MSB CPOOS
Must not allow he/she to mate with any dogs other than dogs from MSB CPOOS.
If you are a guardian for a female dog, you must be willing to drop her off for up to a week while she is bred. Then drop her back off 1 week prior to her whelping date. She will stay with us until the puppies are weaned, We also allow litters to be born in certain guardian homes additional terms apply.
If you are a guardian for a male dog, you must be willing to drop him off or meet with us and he will be with us for 5-7 days per female used for breeding's unless arrangements are made ahead of time for MSB CPOOS to pick him up.
We are also open to co owning males with other breeders.
You must be able to communicate with MSB CPOOS, about scheduling testing, vet care, Vaccinations, mating, whelping, and anything else breeding related.
